About Tony Moore, Author

In the mid 1980's Tony Moore began writing scripts for fun starting with Murder at Doom Manor a collaboration with Kathleen Morgan. The play was performed by Rapscallion Youth Theatre in Salisbury and at La Mama Theatre in Hindmarsh, it has since been peformed a couple more times in Australia. It has also been performed several times in the UK and once in Greece in February/March 2007 (in Greek) by Teatro Periaktoi of Markopoulos near Athens.

In 1993 Tony moved to the UK where he discovered a lack of simple short non moralistic theatre for young people to perform. He wrote some. These sketches and some other short scripts for young people have been collected together in a book; Sketches and Scripts for Young People, which can be ordered from this website, many of these have been performed by various school and youth groups.

Having discovered that he likes writing Tony has now produced some half a dozen full length scripts a similar number of one act plays and some short theatre.

Most of Tony's work has been performed at Festivals or in longer seasons in the UK, Australia and Greece.

A catalogue of all of his full length and one act plays is attached.
